Savaria recently hosted its inaugural dealer Vuelift installation training at their new showroom in the Huizhou, China factory. This event marked a key step in enhancing the knowledge and skills of dealers, particularly in installing the luxurious Vuelift elevators.
The new showroom at the Savaria Huizhou factory, which is still under construction, is a state-of-the-art facility, designed to display the company’s extensive product range, including two models of the Vuelift elevator. The construction of the first of these models, a Vuelift octagonal in acrylic, provided a unique hands-on training opportunity.
Held from November 20 to 24, 2023, the training covered several important topics. It started with a comprehensive factory tour, conducted by Peter Pi, General Manager of the Savaria Huizhou Factory. This tour provided the dealers with an in-depth understanding of the manufacturing processes and quality standards upheld at Savaria. Dealers also received a foundational introduction to Savaria, detailing the company and its product range. The dealers received insights into the Octagonal Vuelift’s features and advantages, accompanied by a detailed comparison chart. The training focused on the installation process, encompassing site preparation, necessary tools, and step-by-step guidance. Dealers gained practical experience by installing the Vuelift in the showroom. The training also included technical aspects like assembling the cab frame and tower, installing acrylic panes to the hoistway and cab and wiring.
The training presented certain challenges, particularly during the installation process. These unexpected issues served as valuable learning experiences for the Savaria team and the dealers, enhancing their problem-solving skills and preparedness for future installations.
The training welcomed four dealers from China and Vietnam. Led by Brock Pang, Technical Support Associate at Savaria, and supported by Mykhailo Sosnenko, Engineering Manager, the training was instrumental in enhancing dealer expertise.
This training session not only educated dealers on Vuelift installation but also strengthened the partnership between Savaria and its dealers. It highlighted Savaria’s commitment to high-quality products and services.
Savaria is planning further training sessions, including an upcoming event focused on the Vuelift Mini installation at the Huizhou showroom in Q1 2024. These sessions are designed to instruct dealers on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Savaria’s luxury home elevators, ensuring the highest level of customer service and support.
